Vitra is a Swiss furniture label and recently, it dove to the 50s for inspiration by reintroducing the iconic Fiberglass chairs originally designed by both Charles and Ray Eames. The furniture piece focuses on carefully holding the human body through the molded structure of the design, which has been highly recognized in the industry for decades. The original design of the chair was curated for domestic spaces and offices as an affordable item.
Vitra noticed that fiberglass materials have become out of date with the progressive new manufacturing methods that come with each year and create its own iteration with polypropylene. The newly constructed chairs are available in the original six colors from the 50s -- Red Orange, Navy Blue, Raw Umber, Sea Foam Green, Parchment, and Elephant Hide Gray.
