The female thigh ad space essentially uses this sensual body part as advertising space. As ludicrous as it may seem at first, the concept lies in the same vein as the A&M Beardvertising movement. This time, however, it targets women. Considering how many men and even women catch themselves staring at the provocative place just below a mini skirt and above the knee, it might prove more successful than the beard billboards.
Conceived by Tokyo PR consultant Hidenori Atsumi, over 3,000 women have already signed up to have a female thigh ad space. Currently taking place in Tokyo, Japan, there are some requirements to being accepted. They must be over 18 years of age and have at least 20 connections on their social media profiles.
