Everyone loves the idea of living in a mansion -- you have the space and privacy you would ever need, but you'd be lacking the social interaction of a comfy family home.
Well that doesn't have to be the case anymore with the recent design and development of this encouraging social interaction family home in Singapore.
Conceptualized and designed by architect firm Park + Associates, the recently completed design of this mansion-like family home was imagined in a way to create a sense of unity.
"The conglomeration of internal and external living areas forms the communal space, while the second level is a private floor with one wing for the children and the other for the parents," says the architects behind the design.
By geometrically dividing the house into two volumes that intersect at the courtyard, the design helps keep families tight by separating the house into zones for various activities then uniting them again by a corridor on one end and an infinity pool on the other.
