The Exxeo Hybrid Piano has been designed as a futuristic update to the classic piano silhouette that makes use of an unlikely material to achieve a flowing, sculpture-like look. Crafted from carbon fiber, the piano has a sculpted aesthetic that would be perfect for conveying a sense of drama if integrated onto a stage for live performances. The flexible material helps to give the piano a fluid design, but also makes it inherently durable and allowing it to resist high levels of moisture for seamless placement on cruise ships or even yachts.
The Exxeo Hybrid Piano is the design work of Iman Maghsoudi of EXXEO and is the winner of the A’ Design Award for 2019. The unit also features an advanced soundboard speaker system and a built-in battery that enables it to provide up to 20 hours of use.
