The Roland 50th Anniversary Concept Model Piano has been designed as part of a concept study in collaboration with Japan-based furniture maker Karimoku. The piano maintains a form unlike what we've seen in the past or present and boasts a curvaceous construction that's hollow in the middle with equipment held securely in the top portion. The keyboard area is kept covered by a topper, which opens to reveal a display in the lid for changing settings and more.
The Roland 50th Anniversary Concept Model Piano has an 88-key design and is constructed using a series of layered Japanese Nara oak pieces. These features combine to create a stunning instrument for the home that balances the past with the future.
