Contemporary Single-Family Home Designs

Entre Quatre Murs Completed the Du Corail Residence

Entre Quatre Murs, the Montreal-based high-end interior design and architecture studio, has completed the Du Corail Residence in Mirabel — a contemporary single-family home of over 7,700 square feet.

The Du Corail Residence emerges from a careful reading of its wooded site and a four-year development process attentive to the inhabitants' needs, with a staged composition across three levels. The interior architecture orchestrates a journey through successive volumes, with a mezzanine perched like a belvedere above the main floor. This design sensibility offers a private retreat with views into the canopy, while the lower level hosts leisure spaces, teenagers' quarters, and guest accommodations. A suspended staircase with a glass balustrade runs through the three levels like a spine, allowing light to flow freely while preserving the transparency of the living spaces.

Site-responsive Luxury Homes
High-end residences shaped by wooded terrain and resident lifestyles reveal openings for personalized architectural planning that blends privacy, views, and natural context.
Vertical Living Journeys
Multi-level layouts with mezzanines, lower-level leisure zones, and dramatic staircases create potential for spatial storytelling that redefines movement through large single-family homes.
Transparent Interior Architecture
Glass balustrades, suspended stair elements, and light-permeable volumes point to emerging demand for interiors that preserve openness while maintaining distinct functional zones.
