If you ever wanted to know how your emoticon use stacks up to other Instagrammers, this infographic on popular emojis on Instagram could be useful. From Curalate, 'The Top #100 Emojis on Instagram' offers hashtag analysis for online marketers and other social media professionals too.
This chart lists the 100 most used emojis hashtagged on Instagram so far, out of a total of 6.44 million. Only since April 27, 2015 have emojis been able to be included in a hashtag on the popular social network. Interestingly, the top 100 emojis make up for 72% of all the individual emojis used in hashtags.
The red heart won the number one spot with a landslide, with 575,381 usages. The heart eyes emoji followed with 321,684, while the blowing kiss emoji is at 185,186.
