In partnership with The Woodland Trust, Yorkshire Tea has planted more than 400,000 saplings in UK school grounds and to share its mission behind the initiative, the popular UK tea brand launched an educational campaign for kids.
Yorkshire Tea created a print ad that can be scanned via Shazam to teach kids all about trees in an engaging, augmented reality format. The digital experience informs kids of some of the challenges faced by local farmers, as well as the importance of trees in our daily lives. The AR poster also helps to communicate the brand's commitment to planting a million more trees by the year 2020.
Augmented reality technology presents the perfect way for brands and advertisers to bridge the gap between digital and physical content, while also creating interactive, impactful experiences.
