SPAR and Yorkshire Tea have announced a new partnership that will see the North of England retailer offering a high-quality cup of tea to customers who prefer it over coffee. Consumers will find Yorkshire Tea on the menu at 125 SPAR locations that have a Cheeky Coffee Machine, which will prepare the perfect cuppa that's positioned as the perfect alternative to coffee. The announcement comes on the news that Cheeky Coffee sales have continued to rise with the in-store machines serving up 1.8-million cups per year.
Sales Director at James Hall & Co. Ltd and Chairman of the Spar Northern Guild Peter Dodding spoke on the SPAR and Yorkshire Tea announcement saying, "It is wonderful to secure a deal and now be able to provide such an iconic brand as Yorkshire Tea alongside our Cheeky Coffee offer at Spar stores. I think it is testament to the growth of the Cheeky Coffee brand over the last couple of years and its position in the market now that we were able to secure this tie up."
