Edible Garden and Tetra Pak® have formed a packaging partnership to support the former brand's scaling of its ready-to-drink (RTD) portfolio. The expansion will see the brand crafting products for adults, children, sports nutrition and GLP-1 categories, and will see the use of Tetra Pak® packaging to support convenience with a shelf-stable profile. The drinks will be manufactured in the brand's facility in the Midwest with its more than 200,000-square-feet of food-grade facilities to maximize output to satiate demand.
Edible Garden Chief Executive Officer Jim Kras commented on the portfolio and Tetra Pak® packaging saying, "Major retailers are facing growing, and in many cases unmet, demand for reliable, clean-label RTD capacity, and our facility is being developed to deliver the scale and precision required to meet that need...The facility will integrate advanced processing and aseptic packaging solutions from Tetra Pak, including the Tetra Prisma® Aseptic 330 Edge package and the Tetra Pak® A3/Speed filling platform, a globally recognized food technology system designed for efficiency and performance.”
