Die Hexe is an Immersive Art Installation in an Old NYC Townhouse

Philadelphia-based artist Alex Da Corte is currently presenting a surreal motel-themed art installation titled 'Die Hexe' inside New York City's Luxembourg & Dayan. Located in the Upper East Side, Die Hexe has taken over the three-storey townhouse and transformed it into a mesmerizing and seedy world that resembles a nightmare fusing The Shining and A Clockwork Orange.

Die Hexe is Alex Da Corte's largest installation to date and comes ahead of his solo exhibition at the Massachusetts MOCA to open this summer.

The surreal space is reminiscent of a David Lynch film and is an example of how creative young artists are disrupting the stereotypical, passive art viewing experience by creating enthralling, fully immersive art experiences.
