‘DREAMSPHERE’ is an Immersive Installation

To celebrate the Irish Museum of Modern Art’s 30th Birthday, ‘DREAMSPHERE’ was commissioned and can be found at the IMMA Courtyard. IMMA artist-in-residence Aoife Dunne created the immersive installation piece. Her work blends the digital and physical realm to entirely immerse the viewer into the art.

As described on the website, the “DREAMSPHERE epitomizes the multi-hyphenate nature of Dunne’s practice: the installation’s myriad features, unlimited to sculpture, sound, performance and film, were single-handedly conceived by the artist, reflecting her tireless dexterity and flair for phantasmagoria.”

For those interested, DREAMSPHERE is an art piece that can be viewed for free until February 28th, 2022. As the work has lighting effects, it is best viewed at night to showcase the full artistic expression.
