The declining bee population is a serious concern for the state of the natural environment and global agriculture. While scientists are investigating the Colony Collapse Disorder, Shau Design creates an innovative project to help bees survive by making them fit for urban environments. Titled 'Bee Hospital,' the initiative is a set of smart devices. It includes a mite guard dispenser, as well as a bee-detecting device and a supplement center.

The Bee Hospital provides the declining bee population with nutrients, chemicals and probiotics that increase their survival chances in urban environments. While the mite guard lures bees in with syrup and carefully brushes them to kill mites, the supplement center offers a nutritious treatment that helps bees adapt to urban environments.
