This year, Kinder is embracing festive, personalized packaging for its seasonal range in the UK, now making it possible for kids to receive a tailored gift package complete with an egg-shaped chocolate and a small toy inside. While the boxes include the same red and white details that are incorporated into the rest of the seasonal toy and confectionery products from the brand, they also embrace other bold primary colors.
Previously, Ferrero experimented with the use of personalized packaging for its 'Your Nutella, Your Way' campaign. Fans of the chocolate hazelnut spread will note the similarities between the type on the Nutella packaging and these new personalized Kinder packaging designs.
To make customization accessible to consumers this season, Kinder created an in-store printing service at John Lewis’ flagship Oxford Street store for the making of large-scale Kinder Surprise eggs.
