There are different eyewear designs that work best on different face shapes and independent spectacle maker Cubitts is making it easier for people to find the right frames with its new app in beta. Powered by Heru technology, the app scans a user's face to provide frames that fit their unique features.
The app boasts sub-millimeter accuracy and it helps to suggest a selection of frames that may be flattering. With this app, the buying experience has the potential to be simplified, since it decreases the risk of people wasting their time on hit-and-miss styles. Thanks to its technology, Cubitts measures the face across various points, horizontally and vertically, including the nose bridge, sphenoid, head width, temple width, angles of the nose and more.
