In order to promote the release of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2' last fall, Regal Entertainment Group provided fans with collectible movie tickets. The promotion was designed to appeal to super fan who were looking for a way to mark the release of the last Hunger Games movie.
The promotional campaign involved the issuing of 1,000 Regal Ultimate Tickets. These collectible movie tickets allowed fans to view Mockingjay Part 2 once a day for the length of its entire run in theaters. Fans who purchased the limited-edition ticket were also given a special laser-etched card decorated with the iconic Mockingjay symbol. These cards were even personalized with the recipients name in order to give fans a sense of ownership over the film.
