White Castle Celebrates the 'Borderlands' Film with Unique Packaging

In celebration of the release of the Borderlands film, White Castle is introducing limited-edition packaging that showcases beloved characters from the franchise.

These special designs will be available on "six-count packs of White Castle 100% beef sliders—Original, Classic Cheese, and Jalapeño Cheese—at grocery stores across the United States. Additionally, the themed packaging will be featured on the Crave Clutch and large soft drink cups in White Castle restaurants."

This exclusive movie-themed packaging incorporates unique QR codes, which, when scanned with a smartphone, offer "seven different augmented reality (AR) experiences. These AR experiences bring the character Claptrap, from the planet Pandora featured in Borderlands, into an interactive and immersive experience on Earth."

This initiative not only celebrates the Borderlands film but also enhances the customer experience by merging popular culture with innovative technology.
