Herbaceous Chimichurri Salad Toppers

Sweetgreen Just Added Chimichurri Dressing to Its Spring Menu

Sweetgreen is ushering in the spring 2022 season in a fresh way by adding a new Chimichurri Dressing to its seasonal menu.

For those unfamiliar, Chimichurri is an uncooked sauce made up of a herby blend of finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, and red wine vinegar. The dish is popular in both Argentinian and Uruguayan cuisines, and is often paired with meat.

Instead of meat, Sweetgreen's new Chimichurri Dressing is instead paired with fresh veggies that capture the essence of spring. The dressing is the star of three new limited-time dishes: the Chicken Chimichurri Bowl, the Mushroom Chimichurri Bowl, and Chimichurri Protein Plate (the heartiest option of the bunch).

The Chimichurri Dressing and all three of the seasonal items are available now through May 2022.
