sweetgreen may be best known for its salads but now the fast casual chain is getting into the grain game with the launch of its new Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl.
A major development for the chain, the new Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl is an all-grains bowl that deviates from the brand's usual focus on salad. The new dish starts with a base of wild rice and lime cilantro black beans, which add a healthy dose of protein right from the start. The rice and beans are then paired with blackened chicken, which is dressed in a new Roasted Chipotle Salsa, as well as sliced tomatoes and cabbage.
