Celebrity-Inspired Cocktails

Charlie Mccarthy's 'Headliner Cocktails' Use Celebs as Muses

Famed mixologist Charlie McCarthy created a set of celebrity-inspired cocktails to celebrate the Summer Drinks Festival with World Duty Free.

The 'Headliner Cocktails' take inspiration from some of today's top performers. Each drink's composition and presentation includes references to the celeb's persona or music. Charlie McCarthy's creations take inspiration from many celebrities, including one of the most watched celebrity couples right now: Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Beyoncé's drink, aptly called 'Fire and Ice' represents the many facets of her personality, including her alter ego, Sasha Fierce. Jay-Z's '99 Truffles’ cocktail is a mix of pear puree, truffle oil, basil leaves, ginger and Stolichnaya Gold -- a reference to his jewelry collection. Charlie McCarthy provides the recipes for these delicious cocktails on the World Duty Free Facebook page.
