Modern Mashed-Up Tableware

Ceramix by CTRLZAK Mixes Old and New Flatware

This flatware by CTRLZAK is currently on exhibit at the Zona Tortona in Milan. The exhibition is called CeramiX, and each piece looks like two pieces of ornate flatware were fused together.

Fusing the CeramiX flatware could probably be done in one of two ways. On the one hand, pieces could be broken in half and then glued to a completely different piece. On the other hand, the more interesting way to fuse the pieces would be to get them a hotel room for the evening.
