Sculptural Ceramic Tableware

Office of Tangible Space and Tortuga Forma Debut the Tortugaware Line

The Tortugaware collection is a new series of ceramic tableware developed through a partnership between the Office of Tangible Space design studio and the manufacturer Tortuga Forma. The capsule is eye-catching as it reinterprets mid-20th-century American serving dish aesthetics with contemporary modifications.

What immediately captures one's attention in the Tortugaware collection is the pronounced, three-dimensional rim, which is intended to be both visually distinctive and ergonomically engaging for handling during meals. The initial offering includes four items that complement each other within a table setting — a primary dinner plate, a smaller salad plate, a bread plate, and a large serving platter. The Office of Tangible Space and Tortuga Forma have signaled intent to introduce additional pieces over time.

The Tortugaware collection is crafted from stoneware in Mexico.
