The Carry The Fire Road Hockey Net Promotes Fundraising Support

The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation is bringing a powerful visual element to its annual road hockey fundraiser with The Carry The Fire Road Hockey Net, an installation created entirely from hospital bracelets to highlight the impact of cancer research and treatment.

Developed in partnership with creative agency T&P Group, the net commemorates the 15th anniversary of the foundation's Road Hockey Event, recognized as the world's largest road hockey fundraiser supporting cancer research. Each bracelet represents 225 cancer survivors, with the completed installation symbolizing 122,008 lives saved and impacted through Princess Margaret Cancer Centre's work since the event began in 2011.

The net was unveiled during the event's opening ceremony and featured in its fundraising activities. It will travel to locations across Canada before being permanently installed at the Cancer Centre in Toronto, where an accompanying QR code will allow visitors to make donations.
