Sky-Drawn Artwork (UPDATE)

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

Thomas Lamadieu Uses the Sky as His Canvas for Painting

— April 22, 2014 — Art & Design
Using the sky as his canvas for painting, Thomas Lamadieu creates beautifully rendered illustrations in this mixed media artwork. The artist has done a few of these works, and his latest pieces are just as good as the last batch.

After taking a photo of the sky surrounded by buildings, Lamadieu uses the blue space as the area to create his illustrations. According to the artist, his "artistic aim is to show a different perception of urban architecture and the everyday environment around us, what we can construct with a boundless imagination." Considering one usually has to take a second look at these illustrations to see how the buildings frame each drawing, Lamadieu certainly achieves this feat with his latest works of quirky character artwork.
