Glasgow-based designers Daniel Freytag and Craig Anderson collaborate on an attention-grabbing burger branding identity for a restaurant that embraces minimalism. The aesthetic is highly sophisticated and strongly characterized by bold fonts and modern detail hits. Essentially, the project produces a "no-nonsense identity for a no-nonsense brand."
The restaurant, simply called BURGER, has locations in the UK, including Edinburgh, St. Andrew's and Newcastle. Daniel Freytag and Craig Anderson focus on the typography as the main player in the communication of the establishment's visual identity. Through the Block Gothic typeface, the designers are able to infuse the burger branding with "the right overtones of craft and robustness."
Without a doubt, the newly developed luxurious and elegant aesthetic of BURGER UK will have consumers lining up to have a taste of the delicious menu.
