Renovated Contemporary Industrial Apartments

TENKA ARKITEKTURA Designs the Burgatoi Project

TENKA ARKITEKTURA designs the newly renovated Burgatoi apartment. The renovated project takes place in the middle of Bilbao, Spain and it embodies a modern look with industrial details. The residence was formerly an office from the 60s and is now a living space.

The inspiration behind the look nods to a nautical world, highlighting a curved piece of wood that is known as the 'burgatoi.' It is used to construct ships and this curvaceous look adds a unique structure to the residence. Taking a look at the kitchen, there are triangular fluted panels that are wrapped in blue for a bright pop of color. This details the cabinets and island, contrasting against the concrete accents and grey resin floors.
