Italian artist Agostino Iacurci takes design to a whole other level with his large-scale building art. He has done paintings on brick walls of small shops, wide abstract artwork on housing complexes and even enormous paintings on the windows of a skyscraper in downtown Taipei.
His work consists of vibrant images and he plays with shapes and characteristics like curvy mustaches on male characters and rosy cheeks on all the people he designs. Like most artwork, it tells a story that can be interpreted differently depending on the experiences and perspective of the viewer.
Iacurci started painting on walls in 1998 at the ripe age of twelve and his artwork has been featured at several exhibitions and festivals all over the world from Europe to Asia.
