'BitTorrent Live' is the name of BitTorrent's first-ever dedicated app for broadcasting and livestreaming. Just as BitTorrent is known for its peer-to-peer file sharing service, this new app for iOS and Android is set to put a strong emphasis on authentic P2P sharing.

For its launch on Apple TV, the app is set to feature free content from small channels. Viewers will be able to tap into MMA matches through Fightbox or arthouse films through Filmbox Arthouse. In the future, BitTorrent promises that there will be paid and premium tiers to follow.
