As part of its mission to be a sustainability leader in the restaurant space, Just Salad has announced that it will be making Beyond Beef Meatballs a permanent menu addition at all of its US locations.
In recent years, many restaurants have added plant-based meat alternatives in an effort to cater to changing consumers taste preferences and growing environmental concerns. But Just Salad has gone a step further other chains by not only adding meat-free alternatives to its menu, but to actually eliminating grilled streak from its menu. The chain has now fully replaced steak with Beyond Meat’s plant-based beef alternative. With 16 grams of protein in just four meatballs, the new Beyond Beef Meatballs are an excellent salad topping option. As Just Salad's Chief Sustainability Officer Janani Lee explains, "We’re thrilled to offer our guests an alternative to beef that’s just as delicious yet significantly more eco-friendly."
