Designer Michael Young from Design Shanghai aims to connect creatives around Asia with his new beverage brand dubbed 'Beer Buddy.' The idea came as part of an in-house project to celebrate Michael Young's new design office in Shanghai.
The beer labels feature a scannable QR code to encourage guests at company events to scan and connect with other creatives through the company's website. Currently, the brand produces a range of different beers, all of which are named after music genres and boast colorful label artwork. Creatives can sip on a Rock and Roll wheat beer, a Cisco pilsner, and. Psychedelic IPA while connecting to like-minded people. Young anticipates adding seltzers to the collection as of this summer.
