When it comes to actively trying to save the earth and reduce our carbon footprints, people tend to think of the here and now. However, with the advent of eco-friendly funeral products like biodegradable urns, it’s possible to be eco-friendly even in death.
The bio urns in the gallery were made from biodegradable paper or clay. In order of the photos shown, they are the Lion Biodegradable Urn, Gold Lily Bio Urn, Reflect Earthurn, Aqua Seashell Biodegradable Urn, Bio Clay Urns, Acorn Biodegradable Cremation Urn, Biodegradable Ocean Urn, Navy Blue Chest Earthurn, Unity Heart Earthurns, and Aqua Journey Urn.
Most of these eco-friendly urns can either be planted in the earth or placed in water. The planted urns will biodegrade within days, months or a year. On the other hand, water-friendly urns are made to float for up to five minutes before they sink and then dissolve within a few hours or days. Another great addition is that many of these earth-friendly urns can be autographed by loved ones.
