Holiday Autos' Ultimate Deck Chair Takes the Shape of a Car

When you think about plunking yourself down onto a beach chair for a few hours, the most movement you expect the chair to do is probably a little reclining—but the Ultimate Deck Chair from Holiday Autos is anything but your average beach chair.
The unit was designed Solomon Rogers and unveiled at Brighton beach as part of a promotion by the comparison car hire site. Other beach-goers looked on with envy as those who got to lounge on the Ultimate Deck Chairs showed how easy it is to chase the sun in search of the perfect spot to tan. The car-lounger was set up with a GPS tracker that followed the position of the sun and in response to this, the attached umbrella moved to provide just the right amount of shade. On top of this, the car was equipped with places to store books, and bottles of lotion, listen to music and keep drinks cool.
