LUDWIG is a Bavarian tapas bar and restaurant located in Markdorf, a small town in Germany. Designed by Konrad Knoblauch, the space has a contemporary feel for being in quite a small town, boasting simple industrial-inspired lighting that consists of Edison bulbs suspended from the ceiling and mismatched rustic chairs that resemble something out of a diner in America.
The cosmopolitan venue was designed in order to be a space that generated positive emotions in guests and that could quickly become a comfortable space that people liked to make a point of frequenting. The charming LUDWIG tapas bar is modeled after the average Bavarian living, with an emphasis on the "urban-style" bar experience that no previous venue in the small city offered.
