Nivea Partnered with Baldassarri for its First Digital Asset

Nivea partnered with artist Clarissa Baldassarri to create the company's first digital asset in the NFT frame. The skincare darling of Beiersdorf showcases the work of Italian artist Clarissa Baldassarri whose focus is to shine a spotlight on the value of touch.

The artist had a temporary visual impairment early into her career, and her artwork reflects said experience. Using a special raised line drawing kit to create the design, the brand's new NFT showcases the importance of the human sense of touch, especially when other senses are compromised.

The NFT is minted on Polygon, a blockchain that uses proof-of-stake validation. Moreover, the blockchain boasts low power consumption to encourage environmental consciousness. In addition, Nivea offers its digital works for free.
