When a new book comes out, common marketing strategies typically include a book tour with signing opportunities and maybe even an author Q&A session. As with most things, social media is changing this. Twitter Q&As are not a new concept, but multi-channel network Alloy Entertainment is using the concept to bring together four young adult writers as well as the Internet as a whole.
As a part of their usual #WritingWeds theme, the MCN is initiating the author Q&A today (March 11th) at 3pm EST. Participating writers include Adi Alsaid, Kass Morgan, Tracy Banghard and Danielle Vega. This offers the online community to ask questions relating to writing and publishing.
In addition to books and authors, Alloy Entertainment also represents television shows and movies.
