Third Aurora introduced a concept for AR cans that turns the entirety of a drink container into an interactive packaging design. The augmented reality concept for beers, ciders, soft drinks and more would give consumers the power to scan the packaging design with a mobile device to access specific content.
Once scanned with a smartphone, a 3D, 360-degree animated display reveals an interactive experience with virtual buttons that can be used to connect consumers directly to gamified content or social media.
The augmented reality packaging concept from Third Aurora is set to launch in 2021 and it offers manufacturers the chance to engage consumers with fresh and engaging content that has the potential to be updated in real-time.
