Workshop-Transformed Dynamic Homes

Naki Atelier Designs the Apartment V in Ermionida, Greece

Anastasia Naki from Naki Atelier designs the Apartment V project, which is nestled in the core of Ermionida, Greece. The space once functioned as a machinery workshop, and it has been transformed into a dynamic and bold living space. What once was an industrial setting is infused with elements that make it a modern living space. It takes up 807 square feet of space, and the main focus of the design project was to ensure plenty of natural light.

The wall of glass blocks stacks at the front entrance in order to allow light to come through while providing a sense of security. The layout is structured and sections the home into two main zones: the private section of two bedrooms and the bathroom, and the public area with an open-plan living area.
