Artful Updated 70s Apartment

Oikonomakis Siampakoulis architects Forms the Art Curator's Apartment

The team at Oikonomakis Siampakoulis architects led the new design transformation of the Art Curator's Apartment nestled at the base of Lycabettus Hill in Athens between Exarcheia and Kolonaki neighborhoods. The home was originally a standard two-bedroom space built in the 70s. Now, it has undergone a full redesign to reflect the artful sensibilities and global themes centered around its owners.

The home is owned by two young professionals working in the art industry. The apartment is filled with artwork, design decor, and heirloom furniture -- this makes the home feel equally like a curated gallery and a home. The redesign brought more attention to a balanced modern Greek theme fused with the city's multicultural inspirations.
