The Omarama attic apartment by NOA transforms an Innsbruck space into a traveler’s retreat filled with light, texture, and panoramic Alpine views. The 135-square-meter residence, named “space of light,” embraces slanted glass walls and open geometry to connect the interior with the surrounding landscape. A restrained palette of black, white, and saffron yellow creates a warm yet minimal backdrop for the client’s art and mementos collected from global travels.
Organized in a U-shaped plan around a central staircase, each area aligns with the sun’s movement throughout the day, enhancing a sense of rhythm and flow. Custom furnishings, including a triangular bookshelf and suspended kitchen island, add sculptural definition while maintaining openness. Using materials such as black quartzite, painted oak, and matte metal, NOA achieves a modern alpine harmony that balances intimacy with spatial freedom.
