Cosmetics company Amore Pacific is opening up an office in Seoul, and has hired David Chipperfield to design the overall architecture of the building. The result is a very elegant structure that is also infused with nature in certain sections. Considering this is a very large office in a city, this is not an easy feat.
DesignBoom states that "the structure’s carefully considered proportions are developed around a central courtyard that both illuminates and ventilates each storey." This section allows workers to get out throughout the day and take in some fresh air, while enjoying a bit of nature. Considering the stress that one can have while working, this is an ideal way to relax.
