Gema Arquitetura Designs a Whimsical and Eye-Catching Space

The colorful office aesthetic is perfectly embodied by this project by the Brazilian studio Gema Arquitetura. The client was the skincare brand Sallve. Located in a five-story building in São Paulo, the workspace is multi-functional. It houses Sallve's offices, studios, and labs. All of this sits above the beauty company's first retail space.

From pastel-toned furniture and space-enhancing glass partitions to terrazzo floors and flexile meeting spaces, Gema Arquitetura focused on bringing contemporary sensibilities and professionalism with a hint of whimsicality. As a result, the firm emphasized the strategic use of bright colors on walls and furniture. This inclusion, in tandem with the floor-to-ceiling windows, makes for a welcoming and mood-enhancing environment. Of course, the color palette was far from random. Gema Arquitetura drew inspiration from Sallve's product packaging and visual identity.
