The 'First Responder' IPA Raises Funds For Firefighter Causes

— June 30, 2022 — Lifestyle
Montauk Brewing Company, which is based in the town of Montauk over in New York State, has long been a supporter of social causes, with the advent of a recent American IPA dedicated to the cause of supporting firefighters and first responders.

The 'First Responder' American IPA is a beer that was brewed by using a deft combination of Columbus and Citra hop varieties. Coming in at an ABV of 5.6 percent, this is a truly crisp and refreshing pale ale with hops that are tasteful and not overpowering.

Released as part of Montauk Brewing Company's 'Brews for a Cause' initiative, the 'First Responder' American IPA raises funds for the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund. "The beer is very similar to our Truth Serum Pale Ale that we’ve brewed for a few years now, and the fans really love it,” noted Montauk's brewmaster Eric Moss.
