Sustainable Bottled Water

Dasani Will Be Using Aluminum Packaging for Its Bottled Water

Coca-Cola plans to use aluminum packaging for its Dasani products. The company is looking to transition all of its bottled water into recyclable material by the year 2030. Dasani has made strides toward this goal by planning to utilize aluminum packaging for its products. The aluminum cans will be released to the northeastern United States initially, starting in the fall. A United States-wide release of the recyclable packaging is scheduled for 2020.

Coca-Cola will also roll out hybrid water bottles for its Dasani products, which will be made from half recycled plastic. The hybrid bottles are scheduled to be released in 2020. Other sustainability initiatives form the company include creating more Dasani PureFill water stations.
