Helene Ly's Air Quality Game Helps You Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

This air quality game design by Hélène Ly is a concept that aims to get rid of the sterile feeling of having to put on a mask and introduce a fun ways to learn how you can personally help cut down on air pollution.

The app is made to be paired with smartphones with iBeacon technology, so that masks and phones can communicate seamlessly with the use of Bluetooth. On the app, you'd be able to earn "life points" by completing a variety of tasks like commuting to work in a responsible way, walking outdoors on sunny days, visiting local parks and buying local fruits in season to cut down on your personal carbon footprint. Each month, you're given a summary of the completed tasks, plus a summary of how long you wore a mask for.
