Looking at the Affectual Chair, I can't help but think that its a broken apart box. I mean, can't you imagine folding and taping it together to store something in it? That said, its angles and minimalist design is what makes this particular seat appealing.
Designed by Shawn Weiland, the Affectual Chair centers around the idea relationships, not only between materials, but also between the sitter and the seat itself. Made out of wood and steel, the legs also switch positions to create a modular piece of furniture.
