MOVABLE Promotes Healthy Lifestyles to Increase Employee Well-Being

Blake Squires is a serial entrepreneur whose next venture involved focusing on people's overall well-being with his startup, MOVABLE. Based around the MOVband, which hit the market back in 2012 as a way to combat child obesity, MOVABLE incorporates the piece of wearable tech in a number of different industries. Inspired by his wife, an educator and aerobics instructor, MOVABLE is meant to target those that slip through the cracks of campaigns by Nike, Jawbone or Fitbit.

Many people are not inclined to lead more active lifestyles even if they know it is only in their benefit to do so. Spurred on by this knowledge, Squires founded MOVABLE to encourage group activity rather than individual. By tapping into this overlooked market, MOVABLE has found success in an organic way.
