Sculptural 3D-Printed Sinks

Kohler & Daniel Arsham Created a One-of-a-Kind Rock.01 Sink

Kohler and contemporary artist Daniel Arsham collaborated on a one-of-a-kind limited-edition 3D-printed sink by the name of Rock.01 that will be available in 99 editions. The design of the sink unites elements of the natural world with contemporary technology and heritage foundry techniques.

Rock.01 consists of 3D-printed vitreous china and hand-poured brass and it has an artful form that was achieved thanks to a forced coercion process. This intricate design could only be achieved thanks to the properties of additive manufacturing and it serves as not only a beautiful, functional design but also a representation of the future of 3D printing.

The 3D-printed sink is set to be available for purchase as of December and it will make its debut at Design Miami/ 2021.
