Kohler, Samuel Ross, and SR_A Design the Formation 01

Kohler works together with British designer Samuel Ross and design studio SR_A on a three-way collaboration to craft the Formation 01 faucet. It is a limited edition design that pushes creative boundaries in the industry. The faucet was first seen last year during Design Miami 2013 and is defined by its bold Haptic Orange hue.

It is cast as a single structure and uses the exclusive Neolast material by Kohler. The escutcheon plate is constructed from the company's traditional cast iron as a strong base that offers an integrated balance. In terms of technicalities, advanced engineering propels precise pressure control with a strong knowledge rooted in fluid dynamics so that it flows as intended and is aligned with Ross' design.
