Gantri Offers Custom 3D Printed Lighting with Gallery Quality Light
Alyson Wyers — July 26, 2016 — Art & Design
This startup offering 3D printed lighting gives consumers the chance to own designer and custom lamps. Home decor company Gantri, which is currently inviting people to join their beta, provides 3D printing solutions that uses LED technology that brings the same level of lighting quality found in art galleries and museums into your very own home.
Some of their features include smooth dimming, natural light ("high CRI producing a light quality similar to incandescent bulbs") and tunable color that goes from candle light to day light. Gantri also makes 3D printed lighting at home more affordable while still maintaining that element of custom craftsmanship.
As 3D printing becomes increasingly standardized, it will likely be introduced to more and more homes.
