Sculpted Ceramic Lighting

MIOS 3D-Printed Ceramic Lamps Merge Digital Craft & Material Tradition

The MIOS 3D printed ceramic lamps by designer Renata G. combine advanced modeling technology with the tactile qualities of traditional ceramics. Each lamp begins as a digital pattern before being printed in porcelain or stoneware, kiln-fired, and hand-finished. The process results in sculptural lighting pieces that mimic the intricacy of woven textiles and coiled fibers while maintaining structural integrity and soft luminosity. The forms evoke both mid-century sensibility and contemporary innovation.

Produced entirely in-house at MIOS’s New York studio, the collection reflects a balance between precision and artistry. Subtle glazes enhance the material depth of each lamp, while the 3D printing process allows for variations that make every piece unique. By merging additive manufacturing with craftsmanship, the collection redefines how modern lighting can preserve the warmth of handmade design through cutting-edge methods.
